It’s Tiki Taka Time!

Dear Friends des gepflegten Kurzpassspiels,

World Cup is TIKI TAKA time at the Michelberger!

With great joy, we invite you to a celebration of football and friendship! All games are shown live and alongside we’re hosting a series of one-off events and collaborations relating to food, music & football. We’ll pass between us and our friends from around the world, changing every night for a month.

Amongst the many attractions will be:

From London comes a weekend of food from the upcoming chef Magnus Reid and his Rooftop Café & Tuckshop with drinks from the Rita’s Bar & Dining team and music from NTS Radio and Eliot Sumner. Copenhagen brings a creative, social food experience from I’m a KOMBO and a handwerk beer bar from Mikkeller. There’ll be an after-show and alive cover band of our favourite Canadian band… The USA is represented by music from My Brightest Diamond and The Augustines.  And from Berlin, the coming home of the glorious Remmidemmi, a Kick & Rush Bar by PSM, Gino’s Return of the Spätzle, Peter Broderick & Casper Clausen’s The Group, big sounds from Empire Escape..… and much more TBA!

We kick off with a Tiki Taka Warm-Up featuring concerts from We Are Scientists on the 9th and Nils Frahm on the 10th of June.

There’s lots to tell and many more surprises to come, so during the Tiki Taka period we’ll be updating our blog daily to tell you all about what’s happening, what’s coming up, all the last minutes gigs and surprises.
