Oysters × Wine
Together with our friends from Plattform 2020, we invited you to slurp and sip your way through an unseasonably warm Monday evening with Joost and Marco of AusterRegion, and Josh Fine, Michelberger Restaurant’s Sommelier.
We served the oysters three ways: classic, mignonette, and thanks to our chefs working the charcoals, freshly grilled with a dollop of homemade Hollandaise loaded with fresh tarragon from Michelberger Farm. It’s hard to say which was the fan favourite because we were sold out within just a few hours!
The outside bar was worked by Josh and Heather, our communications manager, who poured everything from coastal whites to bubbles to a few choice magnums for the enthusiasts. It was especially fun to host many of our industry friends from around town who stopped by on their day off to indulge. We are already looking forward to welcoming Joost and Marco back to swap more salty tales of the North Sea one day soon.
