Australian singer-songwriter Gordi turns a page to open a new chapter in her esteemed musical journey, revealing collaboration with Northern Irish artist SOAK on their poignant single “Lunch At Dune”.

Accompanied by a cinematic video shot around Malahide in Ireland, the single comes with the announcement of the Lunch At Dune EP out 15 November. A run of intimate shows in November will help initiate fans into Sophie Payten’s new sonic sphere.

ABOUT GORDI
Payten’s documentation of her journey through self-discovery, sexuality and identity shines through in previous albums Reservoir and Our Two Skins, seeing the latter recognised with an AIR Award and nominated for an ARIA Award and two J Awards. Teaming up with Troye Sivan on ‘Wait’, from the film Three Months, Gordi has also been collaborating with a host of impressive names, remixing Julien Baker and more as well as tracks with Ben Bohmer, The Blaze, Helado Negro, Loraine James and Maggie Lindemann. Payten also co-wrote the theme song to the Oscar-nominated animated feature film The Mitchells vs the Machines. Post-lockdown, where she returned for a stint as a medical doctor on the frontline, she returned to live stages around the world, making her Sydney Opera House debut for VIVID, and completed extensive tours of Australia, US and Europe with Bon Iver, The Tallest Man On Earth, Gang of Youths and more.
