Songs of Oneness

On the subject of bringing music and people together, on Sunday, October 16th, the Underlook once again became a magical space of singing, community and self-nourishment. After much anticipation and planning, Birjiwan and Bir Kirtan of duo sunni.ai, Mitali and Robert of The Sat Nam Sessions, and composer Marta Leigh finally came together to weave a program of harmonically-intricate mantras. Friends and strangers gathered in all corners of the candlelit space to listen to – and sing along with – a truly mesmerising performance. What emerged was exactly what we’d envisioned and hoped for: oneness through music. Thank you to all of these fine musicians for travelling all the way to Berlin to gift us such a gorgeous and memorable evening!
