The Odd Gig – Edition 1 Andi Toma

We’re excited to announce the first edition of The Odd Gig – a semi-regular evening at the hotel where we invite artists and DJs to play the records they might not normally have a chance to. The rarer stuff – more of a niche selection and perhaps not what might usually be expected of them. How exactly this develops will depend on each artist and of course therein lies the fun!

Our hotel neighbour Andi Toma will commence the series this Monday 29 May in our hof. Andi, of Mouse on Mars has a career spanning nearly 25 years and encompassing music that is an idiosyncratic blend of everything from ambient, techno and dub, to krautrock, disco and jazz.

Alan and co will also set up in the courtyard and we’ll be serving a small menu from 6 pm – think Panzanella salad with buffalo mozzarella, or lime & chilli sausages with a Thai salad or spargel risotto.

Andi will play a short set from around 8:30 pm, with music from Daniel Cupic beforehand, starting at 5 pm.
