Liam Hayes has been making music under his name or the alias Plush since the early ’90s and his new album Slurrup will be released tomorrow (13.01.15) on the Fat Possum Record label.
Nostalgic for the Sixties vibes, Liam is definitely a charismatic and eccentric character with a very strong cinematographic inclination. His psychedelic pop music sounds like a movie soundtrack and his vintage style reminds one of a retro TV series.
This is the reason why Roman Coppola became his fan and decided to include him in A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III, to curate the soundtrack for the movie.
He’ll be playing for us this Saturday (17.01.15) in the lobby. Feel warmly invited from 8 pm.
