What’s Happened
Christmassy Music, Kaiserschmarrn, Holiness in the Forest
This Sunday (14.12) the Michelberger will dress up in red and gold, bringing the full-on Christmas atmosphere to our courtyard and lobby; spicy Glühwein perfume, sweet Kaiserschmarrn aroma and pine forest fragrance all around. And as usual, music will play a big part.
Do you remember the extraordinary opera singer who sang from one of our windows? Yes, Katinka Fogh Vindelev is coming back! She’s just been on tour with Efterklang but now she’s here with us with her solo project “I Am Now”, born from the desire to explore and understand the power of now on the musical scale.
She’ll be joined by two musicians, the Swedish saxophone player Otis Sandsjö and the man of her life, the Danish sound magician Jacob Kirkegaard.
The Nordic theme will continue with a performance by Hanna Mia, an Icelandic / Swedish Singer. She’ll be playing from her first full album Out Of Water, together with her Berlin-based band. There are many collaborations on her new album and not only with musicians but also with filmmakers and actors, such as Tómas Lemarquis.
The show starts at 17h. Looking forward to seeing you!
