Archive Screening

Recording the bells at Greenwich church is a very small and humble beginning for an epic undertaking, but it’s how Axiom the album and accompanying short film first found a spark of life for the band Archive. “Every time we make an album, somebody says it sounds like the soundtrack to a movie that hasn’t been made. Well, this time, we decided to make the movie…” So with the help of Spanish film collective NYSU they created what we are lucky enough to present to you before the film is screened with a live soundtrack performance at the Roundhouse in London later this month.

So what’s the film about you ask? Well that’s something the band are keeping quite quiet, but to get a taste of the post apocalyptic world you will be stepping into, take a look at the trailers on their website.

The screening will be this Thursday, May 8th at 9pm, followed by a Q&A session and turntable spinning in our lobby by the band.
