Healthy New Year!
To start the year we decided to implement our New Year’s resolutions right from the start! Why wait?
Energized water is running through our veins.
Our friends at Goodies introduced us to Thomas and his company Leogant. He’s a water expert and a life-affirming character with a passion to initiate change right at the source: in the body. After studying nutrition and ecological science, he was looking for something in his field of knowledge to get entrepreneurially engaged with, something which had the ability to have a significant impact on people’s life and health. So where better to start with than something that makes up over 70% of our bodies? Water. Every process, our entire metabolism, the exchange of nutrients in our cells, depends on water.
After meeting Thomas we were so convinced that we decided to install his Leogant water filtering and energizing system into our hotel water supply. All the water that comes into the hotel bar and restaurant is now filtered, removing all unwanted chemicals, metals, hormones and whatever else there is lurking in the city water supply. This means even better tasting teas and coffees! And in the rooms, the water that goes into your showers is now energised for a nicer wash-time experience which leaves you extra shining.
Local, organic food.
Terra Naturkost and Endorphina Bakery are our new sources for locally grown organic food and traditionally baked breads and pastry for the restaurant and bar. As well as that, we are reducing our use of sugar, milk and animal products and are increasing the amount of vegan and vegetarian dishes we offer.
We want all the food we produce to be something that contributes to our guest’s well-being, that gives life and energy, and we want it to be in tune with our planet. In our restaurant food is your friend.
