James Pfaff – “It Was Like This – Wonderland”, 22nd Sept, 19h
On Thursday evening (22nd Sept), the vernissage for James Pfaff’s solo show, “Wonderland” will take place. Come along at 19h for a glass of wine and to see some great photography.
Diaristic in nature,“Wonderland” is a collection of personal, sharply observed & sometimes downbeat photographs made during trips to the U.S.A. between 1998 & 2007. Geographically widespread, we see New York’s Twin Towers, get a glimpse of Elvis Presley’s Graceland, take a trip through Las Vegas’s underbelly and wind up south in New Orleans.
Following on from two successful exhibitions in London “35mm Photographs” & “Japan” this is the first time that James Pfaff has shown outside of the U.K.
James has been a photographer for all of his working life. He has built a reputation for successfully fusing art and commercial photography. He works internationally for an eclectic clientele from the British graffiti artist Banksy to Die Fantastischen Vier.
The sharp-eyed amongst you will also notice that James recently took the amazing shots of the Michelberger Mystery Music Festival, as well as the photographs of our hotel on our own website.
The show runs until the 03/11/11.
